While several musicians take a while to get used to Bollywood, some are just set to fly on the backs of their tunes right from the minute they arrive on the scene.
 

Here are ten composers who made a mark right from their very first proper release:

 

Piyush Mishra -- Gulaal

 

Right from Aarambh, the rousing cry for battle, to Yaara Maula, a remarkably authentic rock track, Mishra does immensely well with this first-time soundtrack.

 

The legendary theatre actor has composed, written and sung most of the songs in this eclectically folksly and very desi mix, and it's a work of wonder.

Khanwalker rocked our socks off Punjabi-style with her astonishing work in Dibakar Banerjee's Oye Lucky.

 

The soundtrack captures the mood of the film, aids narrative, has enough spunk to make up for most of last year's releases, and features last year's finest song -- Superchor, a fantastically written track about girls on the other side of the air-conditioned glass barrier.
